Silica sol casting
Always investment casting process classified in 2 types, one we called here is an American style silica sol process with green wax (median-temperature wax) and using better shell coating sand, it offers the casting parts in very smooth surface, tight tolerance, suitable for small part and precise part making and widely use stainless steel material etc, but carbon steel is possible too. Always in working the casting part in weight less than 1kgs or 0.5kgs/Pc.
It is different with general investment casting process actually called soluble glass process with white wax (low-temperature wax ) and rough sand with relative rough surface, little bigger tolerance, suitable for large part making more than casting weight from 0.5 to 100KGS especially for carbon steel, alloy steel.
Silica sol casting process is worked in a special designed workshop, with strict material, Temp., processes controlling, and offers the best quality castings in surface finishing, tolerance and in purity of alloy grade, it is a costly process of all casting processes too.
We can make all possible castings according to customer's requirements, and matching all International quality material standards as like ASTM, AISI, SAE, DIN, JIS, B.S, GOST, GB and ISO as well as the specification according to customer needs and non magnetic stainless steel, nickel and chrome base alloys, brass/bronze alloys, Monel alloys, carbon and alloy steels etc.
