Green Sand Casting

Green sand casting is a forming process in which molten metal is poured into a nonreusable, compacted sand mold and held until solidification occurs.  the resulting product has a draft angle and rough textured surface.  The sand mold is composed of sand mixed with small amounts of binding materials to improve its moldability and cohesive strength.
